Inspector Ed Home Inspection Services
A Buyer’s Inspection is a standard home inspection. It is highly recommended for home buyers who want to understand the home’s condition, issues, and mechanics before purchasing. We perform a thorough inspection of the home’s systems and components, including anything that is visible to us from the roof to the basement, and write up a report to help guide your decision-making about the property.
A Pre-Listing Inspection helps home sellers become aware of damage or defect in the home so that they can repair them before listing or be prepared to discuss them with potential buyers before they schedule a Buyer’s Inspection. This often gives sellers the upper-hand when it comes to negotiating a sale.
New Construction Phase Inspections
New Construction Phase Inspections offer peace of mind that each significant phase of the building process are completed. The inspection will provide photos of each requested phase before the builder continues on to the next phase when scheduled. We will inspect each phase thoroughly so that the builder can address any issues.
Wood-destroying organisms, like termites, are attracted to moisture in the home and tunnel through wood. These small pests can cause serious damage if they go unnoticed or aren’t exterminated in a timely manner. The NPMA-33 form will be provided in the attachment section of the report. We will inspect the home for signs of an infestation or wood damage so that remediation can begin.
